I should like to take an opportunity to thank you and EMSL for the outstanding Industrial Hygiene Sampling Workshop you presented in Boston in September 9, 2005. This was without question, one of the most useful seminars I have attended and a terrific value for the cost. Likewise, the five employees of Boston Environmental who attended the workshop with me (four chemical engineers and one medical doctor) were equally enthusiastic about the quality and content of the presentations and the expertise and knowledge of the presenters.
Although I have more than 40 years experience, I nevertheless learned much new and useful information, including new test procedures for problems that have perplexed me and my clients and have remained until now, unresolved. A example is the "new rug odor test." I have several clients who have complained odors in their businesses or homes, usually after having completed remodeling. Although I suspected the new carpets, the VOC and formaldehyde tests we conducted gave no indication of a problem. This test finally provided the tool for testing for and identifying this problem.
I look forward to your next seminar and hope that you will expand the offering to provide a continuing series of work shops to help us expand our knowledge base and take advantage EMSL's expansive resources.
