The BET/Surface area analysis at EMSL Analytical uses ASAP 2020 Automatic Micropore and Chemisorption Analyzer. This instrument is a high-performance adsorption analyzer that uses the gas sorption technique to generate measurements of BET surface area and pore size and distribution from 3.5 to 5000 angstroms when used in physical adsorption mode, and also active metal surface area and dispersion when used in chemical adsorption mode. It can be employed with various gases (krypton, argon, nitrogen, helium, hydrogen, carbon monoxide).
